The main thing we do is to connect students with small-scale, community-initiated development projects in developing countries. We recruit volunteers for these projects in the autumn and then work with them for two terms of training, fundraising and preparation. If you're hard working, sensitive to other cultures, can work in a team, and want to help make a positive difference then we'd love to hear from you.
We'd also love to hear from people who would like to join the committee and help our work both abroad and in Oxford. Many committee members are former volunteers and we are proud of our retention rate, but we welcome applications from anyone who has the energy and enthusiasm to help us achieve our goals.
If you don't have much time available then you could also support at one-off events, by donating money, or by writing an article for our website or any other outlet. You can also help by talking about the issues we raise with others and advocating their resolution.
